Would recommend these guys to anyone. Enjoyable experience ( unlike when I was learning to drive car!!). Loved the banter throughout the course whilst remaining professional and focused on keeping safe. Special thanks to Roger (cbt & mod 2), and Gareth and Dan ( mod 1) cheers

The Shires was excellent throughout my training, did my CBT last year and just went through my DAS with them. The guys were all good fun, really patient and gave you the confidence just to get on with it. Would definitely recommend using them..!! Enjoyed it, thanks.

hailstoneing and my visor had steamed up on ma helmet,kept telling me while we was on the road that i would never pass ma test cause of the way i cornered my bike, kept referin to what i did as “well with u learning at The Shires thats why ur doing it cause they dont teach u right” the amount of stuff i learnt with the shires was alot more than he taught the others there, i didnt mind that because id already done it, however for those of u who wouldnt and its ur first time u wont get what u pay for and i feal also that ur lifes would be in danger as ur not being taught all ur supposed to be taught. i would never go with this other place if ma DAS was free, i would rather pay double to do it with the shires cause i know id be taught properly, safely and id be confident about doing it with them. just to let everyone know never to use any other training school but The Shires. i passed ma CBT with them the first time and i needed to do it again as ma 2yrs was up, cuz i left it to late there wasnt no places left for me to do it with them again b4 ma 2 yrs ended so i stupidly went with someone else. i remember everything i did with The Shires regarding ma CBT and this other place was nothing like them. were Dan and Ian made me confident about what i did no matter how wrong i did it this other place critisied everything i did, told me i would never pass my test, made me go faster on the road although it was raining and…….

If you’re thinking about learning to ride then I wouldn’t look anywhere else. The team down at Shires make the whole experience lots of fun, have plenty of patience for beginners like myself, and the vibe is always good. They make you feel right at home from day one. I completed my CBT and Mod 1+2 with them over the past month and couldn’t wait to get on the bike each day I had my training. Thanks to all the guys there, especially Ian, Dan and Steph who took me out on the roads and gave me the confidence to pass. Cheers guys!

Did my CBT yesterday had a really good day, and the instructors are really nice and very encouraging. Would recommend them to anyone as they really put you at ease and teach you a hell of a lot about how to keep safe. They even gave me that much confidence on a 125 rev and go on the road that when I got home I went straight out on the road on a 125 gilera geared bike. Id Like to say a huge thanks to Steph and mark for the training and a huge thanks to Ian for the fun ride out was a really good laugh and he\’s a brill instructor, thanks shires! Did my CBT a few days ago and would recomend them to anybody wanting to learn how to ride a bike properly. Many thanks to the instructors, Ian, Andy and Stef who took time to explain things clearly and allowed me to proceed at my own pace. Further thanks to Ian for a fun ride out and lots of safety tips while on the road and how to overcome my blindside problem… a great instructor.

I did my full cat.A at shires motorcycle. It was a some time a go but i just want to say is grate people in ther exellent lerning easy to understand. I recomend them to any one who want to make a license for motorbikes. Big thanks for shires. Lukasz

Had never rode a bike above 125 on the road before. Bit scared of getting on a 500 and handling the bike. After a couple of hours i could handle it like i\’d rode it for years. VERY helpful instructors, very friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Most appreciation to Gareth for making the experience a lot of fun whilst training and i looked forward to everyday. NEVER WANTED IT TO END!
